Welcome to a basic rundown of AKB48 group
AKB48 is an all female japanese idol group with the concept of "Idols You can meet" There are 5 teams in AKB48, each with their individual charm and concept. They all perform in the AKB48 Theater almost daily in shows called "stages" . --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AKB48 has many members, this is what contributes to its charm. As of 2021,March AKB48 main group has 98 members and 16 generations.(Picture depicts members who were active during the period of 2018)
Many people might find this intimidating, although many people only know a couple members and follow them. This is because all the members indulge in different idol activities! these can vary with things such as, Tv shows, drama, Movies, Stage plays, Radio shows, Solo lives, Youtube and more! Well there are many discord servers. the main and most active being Eitosubs discord server. They also have a website called Team 8 Daily where they subtitle Team 8 but also other AKB specific content!
